The Money Fix: Ever wished to understand everything about finance?

Saying that "money is the root of all our problems" is just as stupid as saying "No woman no cry". Money is the root of everything, sort of. So obviously it is the root of a lot of problems.

That said, with last year's financial crisis, and the many questions it sparked, I noticed one thing: Nobody I know was able to explain me how it works. Money, finance... all that stuff. Either because they were as clueless as me, either because I didn't understand their explanation. I'm actually pretty sure they were clueless too and were just trying to sound cool with four-letter words like "edge fund" and "dead loan".

Debate on the debate on the debate on nanotechnology

This paper is not about nanotechnology. It will not present a debate on the subject of nanotechnology. It will not argue on the relevancy of such a debate. Those points have been already discussed sufficiently to be considered thoroughly covered. But I don't see much of a debate on the debate on the debate on nanotechnology. You thought the title was a joke? Think again.

Your inalienable right to burp and fart

There are some activities that one cannot but undertake, but that he must make sure that the outer society ignores all about. Of those secret actions, the outer society, that includes all sentient creatures alive besides him, not only must not take notice ; but in ideal, it should rest assured that none of its members ever undertakes them. Even though each and every one of them sins in secret many times a day. Including the most eminent enforcers of the establishment of said society. I'm speaking, of course, of the action of burping and farting.

Who listens to CDs nowaday?

I'll follow one of my favourite presentation scheme: The question game:

CDs? What's that?

A bit of history, will you?

My new iPhone

After having spent a lot of time comparing the offers of the various providers that distribute the iPhone, I finally decided on the one that suited me the most. I came to that decision at 2am on a Sunday evening, and on Monday, I had no time to go. So I had to wait until Tuesday to get it. I can tell you I was all shaky. My own iPhone! I couldn't wait for it. And only 150€ too, and 55€ a month, with a 2 years commitment. The Nokia e70 that I've been using for some time is nice, but just nice. It has no GPS, it is slow and Symbian is just not very user-friendly. It was time for a change.
